As a photographer we are by nature, creatives. We inherently see the beauty in the world around us. We have a basic need to share our vision of how we see the world with the people around us. HOWEVER, we also have to pay the bills (LOL) so 95% of what we do is producing art for others. We capture baby’s first steps, the I do’s of your daughters, your precious family moments and WE LOVE DOING IT! As artists we do need to be able to recharge that creative battery so to speak. One way to do that is to do “Personal work” Sessions created where we have full space to run wild with our imaginations and try things we may not have the chance to do with a client. The Ballerina Beauties styled shoot I recently participated in was one such project. I have a passion for the beauty of ballet and dancers in general. I admire deeply the discipline , strength and beauty. Point Defiance park in Tacoma, Wa. with its rose gardens, deep wooded trails, and blooming cherry blossoms make a stunning back drop for these ethereal images. Thank you to all the AMAZING vendors, coordinators, and dancers who made this gorgeous event a reality.
