RJ’s Senior Session

Sometimes, in Western Washington, the weather does not like to cooperate with us. Being from Washington this means we make the best of what we’re given…. Even when we have to brave the storms like RJ and I did for his senior session.

RJ’s session took place the Monday after what was supposed to be the biggest storm in the past 60 years (it seems the media forgot about 2007, 1998 and a few other ginormous storms in there). It sure makes a mama and Tacoma Senior Photographer nervous when there’s a threat of 60+ mph winds. But we pushed forward anyway.

And guess what? The weather was AWESOME! We started down on Ruston Way, at the Chinese Reconciliation Park. Then headed out to a few of my favorite spots to shoot, Tacoma’s Glass Museum, the Graffiti Garage and this amazing green garage door across from Sanford & Son. RJ completely rocked his senior session, joking around and having a good time.

This guy is full of personality and Mt Rainier High School will be sad to see him graduate for sure. But wherever he goes, and whatever he does, he’s sure to leave some shine behind.
